Frisco and McKinney have launched a pitch competition for high-growth startups to offer solutions for public infrastructure, transportation and environmental challenges.
Applicants must submit entries by Aug. 31, finalists will be announced the week of Sept. 15, and the live event is set for Oct. 21 in both cities.

A zoning change for a nearly 10-acre mixed-use development anchored by Trader Joe’s and a senior living community was approved on July 28 at the southwest corner of Main Street and Majestic Gardens Drive, and the project now awaits final City Council approval.
