Parents have reported educator misconduct allegations to the DOJ as part of Project Safe Schools, and U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould said his office is vetting the reports to hold North Texas school districts accountable (following a recent settlement with Forney ISD) while investigations continue.

TxDOT is nearing finish on its $58 million U.S. 75 project that adds a lane for solo drivers from I-635 to SH121 + construction began in 2024 and is set to complete this fall across Dallas and Collin counties.
Frisco government offices will close Monday, Sept.
7 for Labor Day, resuming Tuesday, Sept. 8, while city services such as trash collection and library operations adjust their schedules to accommodate the holiday.
