The Craig family established a memorial scholarship in honor of Aiden Craig (a dedicated athlete nearing the end of Marine boot camp in California) to support local athletes who embody his passion and sportsmanship.
Local nonprofits showcased their good causes during North Texas Giving Day, which ended Sept.
17 after a three-week fundraising drive. Final donation totals have not yet been released.
🎓 Education
Frisco ranked No. 1 in ProCare Therapy’s 2026 Childhood Well-being Index with an overall score of 89.8 while Plano and McKinney placed second and fourth.
The study compared 100 large U.S. cities using measures such as third-grade reading proficiency, child poverty, absenteeism & park access.
🏈 Sports
After Sunday's loss to the Giants, Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker said the team is retooling practice sessions to improve communication and performance.
He noted young defenders will assume key roles as they prepare for their upcoming home game.
