If you're watching the Cowboys' next move, here's the latest. Stephen Jones said Monday on 105.3 The Fan that Dallas remains open to adding a player before the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline, a day after the 33-30 overtime loss to Arizona. "We think we're close, we think we can get this ship righted," he said.

Porter was the last addition, and Dallas News asks whether the Cowboys would consider resting him because his ankle injury persists. Jones said the team measures "how much value we're giving for this year only and then what it means to the future."
Dallas has paid picks for Gary and Porter since March
| Player | From | Dallas gave up |
|---|---|---|
| Rashan Gary | Packers | 2027 fourth-round pick |
| Joey Porter Jr. | Steelers | 2028 second-round, 2027 sixth-round picks |

Would a loss in Indianapolis push Dallas toward selling? Jones wouldn't get into it. "Guys, we're looking at getting better this week," he said.
